Major Life Transitions also known as Adjustment Disorder is characterized by struggles with life transitions or dramatic changes to ones life including but not limited to coming of age, going to college, getting married, getting or losing a job, moving to a new state, having a baby, divorce/separation, etc.

Potential Signs/Symptoms:

  • Low mood or self-esteem

  • Increased anxiety symptoms

  • Withdrawal from social life

  • Difficulty Sleeping

  • Difficulty Concentrating

  • Irritable or tense

  • Impulsive behaviors
