Payment & Policies

Insurance & Payment

At NeuroBloom, we believe mental health care should be both excellent and accessible. Here’s how payment works:

  • Insurance Accepted:

    • Blue Cross Blue Shield (PPO)

    • Aetna (PPO)

    • Cigna (PPO)

    • UnitedHealthcare (PPO)

  • In Progress:

    • Medicaid paneling (coming soon).

    • Group therapy offerings (in development to increase affordability and community access).

  • Self-Pay / Private Pay:

    • Standard rate: $150 per individual session.

    • Sliding scale: available based on financial need. Please discuss with your therapist if you’d like to explore this option.

  • Payment Responsibility:

    • Clients are responsible for confirming their own insurance coverage.

    • Any copays, coinsurance, or deductible-related fees are due at the time of service.

    • Fees for late cancellations or no-shows cannot be billed to insurance.

We want to make care sustainable. If finances become a barrier, please communicate with your therapist — we will work with you on options.

Session Length

  • Individual therapy sessions are 53 minutes.

  • Family, couples, or group sessions may run longer, depending on service type.

  • Sessions begin and end on time. If you arrive late, your session will still end at the originally scheduled time.

Scheduling & Attendance

  • All sessions are by appointment only.

  • Regular attendance is essential for progress. We encourage clients to commit to consistency for the best therapeutic outcome.

  • Scheduling is managed through our secure client portal.

Cancellation & No-Show Policy

We honor both your time and our clinicians’ time.

  • Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice: $75 fee.

  • No-call, no-show: $100 fee.

  • Therapist cancellations: If your therapist must cancel within 24 hours, you will receive one “free” late cancellation credit that you may use in the future.

Note: Fees are not billable to insurance.

Communication Between Sessions

  • The client portal and official practice email are the only approved communication channels.

  • Social media, texting, or informal messaging are not used for clinical communication.

  • Non-urgent messages will be answered within 48 business hours.
