Yes. And the tragic part is how few people know it. Since April 2023, Sudan has been torn apart by a brutal war between military factions that turned cities into rubble and starved entire regions. Over twenty million people need urgent humanitarian assistance. Millions have fled on foot to neighboring countries. Families are dying not because food does not exist, but because they cannot reach it. Hospitals have been bombed, aid routes blocked, communications cut, and whole communities disappeared without headlines or hashtags. It is the deadliest and most silenced catastrophe happening right now, a slow-motion collapse where civilians are trapped between hunger, violence, and the world’s selective attention.
