Workshops & Community Experiences
Creativity, Connection & Collective Care
NeuroBloom offers interactive mental health and wellness workshops for companies, nonprofits, schools, youth programs, community organizations, and groups. Based in Chicago, we bring culturally responsive, neurodivergent-affirming approaches to nervous system regulation, expressive movement, collective imagination, and community connection.
Our workshops reflect the things we care about: making mental health education accessible, creating space for different ways of participating, and helping people build relationships and skills that support everyday life. We use conversation, creativity, movement, and reflection to make learning engaging and practical.
We collaborate with organizations to adapt each experience for their audience, including children, teens, adults, and professional teams.
BRING NEUROBLOOM TO YOUR GROUP
Nervous System Regulation Workshops
Our nervous system regulation workshops help participants understand how stress shows up in their bodies, emotions, attention, and relationships. Together, we explore practical ways to recognize overwhelm, respond to individual needs, and create more supportive environments.
Workshops can include:
Recognizing stress responses and early signs of overwhelm
Exploring grounding, breathing, and sensory strategies
Understanding the role of movement, rest, and connection
Practicing co-regulation and communicating support needs
Building sustainable approaches to stress at school, work, and home
We adapt the language and activities to the group’s age, setting, and goals.
Dance, Expressive Movement & Somatic Embodiment
Our dance and expressive movement workshops invite participants to explore emotions, creativity, and connection through movement. Somatic-based embodiment practices offer opportunities to notice physical sensations, explore personal boundaries, and develop greater awareness of what feels supportive.
Activities may include guided movement, creative expression, grounding, and individual or shared reflection. Participants are welcome to adapt movements, take breaks, or observe. No dance experience is needed.
These workshops can be adapted for youth programs, schools, community gatherings, staff wellness events, and organizational retreats.
Dare to Dream: Collective Imagination Workshops
Dare to Dream creates space for children, teens, adults, and teams to imagine what they want for themselves and their communities.
Rooted in Black radical imagination and collective care, these workshops use art-making, storytelling, reflective prompts, and collaborative world-building to explore belonging, freedom, support, and possibility.
What would a community look like if everyone had what they needed? What helps us feel safe enough to create? What do we want to build together?
We partner with nonprofits, schools, youth-serving organizations, and community groups to adapt Dare to Dream for their participants. For children and teens, workshops can explore identity, creativity, belonging, and hopes for the future through age-appropriate activities. For adults and organizations, they can support reflection on shared values, community needs, and collective goals.
Practice in Color: BIPOC Workshops & Community Connection
Practice in Color brings BIPOC therapists, healers, and community care practitioners together through workshops, facilitated conversations, and community events.
We create space to exchange resources, discuss the realities of care work, and build relationships that support collaboration. Our gatherings explore cultural identity, professional sustainability, collective care, and the needs of the communities we serve.
Practice in Color reflects our commitment to building a connected community of practitioners who can learn from one another, share opportunities, and develop meaningful work together.
Coming Soon: The Revolution Is Relational
Conflict Resolution, Accountability & Repair
The Revolution Is Relational is our upcoming workshop series exploring abolitionist approaches to conflict, communication, and collective responsibility.
Designed for companies, nonprofits, organizations, and community groups, these workshops will examine how power, identity, boundaries, and organizational culture shape our relationships. Participants will explore practical approaches to navigating disagreement, responding to harm, clarifying expectations, and supporting meaningful accountability.
The series will create opportunities to practice conflict resolution and consider what repair requires, including consent, safety, and shared responsibility.
