Q&A
-
I enjoy working with children, adolescents, and adults who are navigating complex life transitions, stress, anxiety, depression, grief, ADHD/Autism, trauma, mood disorders, eating disorders, and body image distress. As someone deeply invested in supporting neurodivergent individuals and people with varying abilities, I aim to be a steady, compassionate anchor for anyone looking for a truly person-centered place to process and grow.

If you’ve never been to therapy before, think of our time together as a warm, collaborative, and entirely non-judgmental partnership. My style is eclectic, trauma-focused, and tailored entirely to you—we go at your pace, honor your unique story, and build a space where you can show up authentically.
-
You can expect a gentle, welcoming environment where our primary goal is simply building connection and trust. We’ll take time to get to know who you are beyond your symptoms, establishing a safe haven where you feel completely supported as we begin to map out what healing looks like for you.

I blend core Rogerian techniques with actionable coping strategies drawing from CBT, DBT, ACT, and CPT. Beyond traditional talk therapy, I frequently integrate art-, play-, and somatic practices like EFT tapping and deep breathing to help clients process emotions that are difficult to put into words. I am also in the process of getting certified with animal-assisted therapy and certifying my cat!
-
As a first-generation child of immigrants and a Muslim woman of color, my lived experiences give me a nuanced understanding of how cultural expectations, systemic pressures, capitalism, and racial identity shape mental health. I hold space for the fullness of these intersecting dynamics in every session.
-
I meet grief and open-ended uncertainty with a gentle, curious lens. I focus on normalizing the heavy emotions and physical sensations that come with loss, reassuring you that there is no "right" way to grieve. Together, we use practical tools and psychoeducation to help you find personal meaning without feeling rushed, stuck, or alone.

“When you know better, you do better.”
That’s what I come back to again and again. You’re not supposed to know everything already. You’re not supposed to have it all figured out. Therapy helps you learn, reflect, and build better tools. Once you have those, you get to make new choices. -
After a full day, I ground myself through quiet deep breathing, relaxing at home with my cat, and unwinding with short comedy videos that bring a bit of laughter and lightness.
-
To me, affirming care is about active, unconditional acceptance. It means creating a non-judgmental sanctuary where your whole identity—your culture, race, faith, gender, and sexuality—is celebrated, validated, and actively supported.
-
I was drawn to NeuroBloom’s genuine commitment to holistic mental health care and its dedication to serving diverse cultures and backgrounds. I am thrilled to contribute my passion for neurodiversity-affirming care, somatic integration, and culturally responsive therapy to this community.
-
You don’t leave your culture at the door when you come to therapy, so neither do I. We talk about family, faith, belonging, language, and identity because they shape how we see ourselves. Healing has to include the systems that raised us, the expectations we carry, and the ones we’re learning to release.
-
I reconnect through prayer, honest conversations with trusted loved ones, time in nature, and engaging in creative art. Giving myself grace and compassion is a daily, intentional practice.
-
I chose this path because I want to help people truly thrive, not just survive. This work is a deeply personal calling for me—especially as an autism mom. Walking that path has taught me firsthand how critical it is to advocate for and accommodate neurodivergent individuals, and it fuels my passion for building inclusive, supportive communities.
-
Using Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) alongside assertiveness training, I help clients clarify their core values and align their choices with what truly matters to them. We practice setting healthy boundaries, cultivating deep self-compassion, and building conflict resolution skills so you can stop sacrificing your well-being for others.
